Closure and reclamation of the landfill for municipal solid waste in the Municipality of Oryahovo - 2014

 



Completed are the types of work by parts:

 

  • excavation and removal of waste - 39 912 cub. m;

  • leveling the layer of earth 20 cm - 1660 cub. m;

  • clay screen 50 cm thick - 4150 cub. m;

  • blanket drainage 50 cm thick - 4150 cub. m;

  • sub humus layer with a thickness of 30 cm - 2490 cub. m;

  • soil-building humus layer with a thickness of 20 cm - 1660 cub. m;

  • drainage pipes - 704 m;

  • embankment ditch - 620 m;

  • lined ditch - 50 m;

  • monitoring wells - 3 pcs .;
    • depth level benchmark - 1 pc .;
    • leveling benchmarks for subsidence the landfill - 2.

     

In biological reclamation 1-st year were performed the following works:

  • fertilization and planting saplings - 11852 pcs.;

  • fertilizing and seeding with grass mixtures – 3.675 acres.
